Troubleshooting while watching True Visions

Problems while watching True Visions

Most of the symptoms and causes, can be checked and resolved by yourselves by checking the following details

Remote control is not working

  • Check to see if the Set top box is turned on
  • Check the battery in the remote control

Signal is not displayed

  • Check the plug

Red light showing

  • Press “Power” at the box or remote control. The light will turn green if it is ready to use 

The box is not responding


  • Turn Set-top box off and on
  • Unplug the box for 5-10 minutes then plug it in again

There is no signal

  • Check the yellow AV and make sure it is connected tightly
  • Check to see if there is any problem with the TV set
  • Contact True Call Center at 1242 or a representative dealer near you

Reception trouble (fine weather)

  • Check the dish to see if it has been moved
  • Check to see if the connection is loose
  • Contact True Call Center at 1242 or a representative dealer near you. Or check the receiver's user manual 

No audio/ image signals

  • Check the Mute button on the remote control
  • Check the audio level
  • Try changing the channel
  • Check the audio and image cable (red, white and yellow to see if any is loose)
  • Remove and reinstall the smart card
  • Unplug and plug in the box again

Disturbed signal

  • Check to see if the dish has been moved or not
  • Check for loose cable connection
  • Check to see if there is any problem with the TV set or not

The screen is showing low signal and searching for signal (fine weather)

  • Check to see if there is any obstruction in front of the dish
